Job summary

Drury Southwest, Inc. seeks an organized Project Manager to lead large-scale capital and infrastructure projects from inception through closeout. You will manage construction work, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery; travel is required.

Strong background in construction management, scheduling, and cost control is essential; candidates should have a degree in CM and at least five years of hotel or commercial construction management experience.

  • Prepare detailed construction budgets and schedules covering design, purchasing, and construction sequences.
  • Lead the construction permitting process.
  • Coordinate construction with project superintendents, DI Supply, architects, and contractors to meet budget and schedule commitments.
  • Act as general contractor: source, interview, and recommend qualified subcontractors; solicit and evaluate bids; award contracts based on lowest total cost or best qualifications.
  • Maintain project controls through execution and lead project closeout.
  • Capture lessons learned for post-project review.

Required Education and Experience
  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field with coursework in project management; or
  • Minimum 5 years of practical hotel or commercial construction management experience.
