Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Manufacturing IT is seeking a Capital Project Integrator to support SMACDE initiatives: Startup, Move, Acquisition, Closure/Curtailment, Divestiture, and Expansion.

You will partner with Site Technology Leaders, IT teams, third-party vendors, and business partners to translate business outcomes into clear scope, coordinate delivery across workstreams, and help ensure successful project execution from intake through closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with senior or executive-level business leaders.
• Experience managing multiple IT infrastructure, systems, manufacturing, construction, or facility-related projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience translating business outcomes into IT requirements, project scope, deliverables, risks, and milestones.
• Experience creating or maintaining project documentation, team documentation, playbooks, templates, procurement items, financials, or other administrative project deliverables.
• Willing and able to travel approximately 25%, with occasional travel up to 50%, and support occasional night or weekend project needs.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project stakeholders to align scope, deliverables, timelines, risks, and business impact, including translating IT topics into business language for senior leaders
• Review and validate solution designs, drive workstreams to completion, and challenge standards when appropriate to improve project outcomes
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline delivery across the GPIT project landscape
• Create and maintain project documentation, team documentation, playbooks, and templates that support consistent execution
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to challenge and improve team strategies in alignment with overall IT value
• Provide day-to-day leadership for project team members, including coaching, addressing delivery gaps, and enabling accountability across the team
• Identify, mitigate, and elevate risks, remove obstacles, and drive timely decisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Align engineering teams and third-party vendors to IT outcomes, standards, and delivery commitments
