A water utility company in Pennsylvania is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to oversee capital improvement projects for water and wastewater systems. You will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and preparing budgets. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 5+ years of design experience, and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to operate Company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage capital improvement projects for water and wastewater systems.
• Prepare studies and reports for future system planning and improvements.
• Assist in developing annual capital improvement plans for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Manage a range of capital projects ensuring compliance with standards.
• Prepare and manage permit applications for projects.
• Conduct the bidding process and oversee contract requirements.
