Job summary

On-Board Industrial Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects and support plant outages in Gonzales, LA for a two-year assignment. The ideal candidate holds a degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering and brings experience in project planning, budgeting, contractor coordination, field execution, and safety management.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, contractor coordination, and safety.
• Strong leadership and ethical standards with focus on safety and compliance.
• 0-20 years experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects and manage engineering, design, and construction resources.
• Develop estimates, funding documents, schedule, and forecasts in SAP.
• Ensure process safety reviews and ORIs are completed on time.
• Provide field supervision during project execution.
• Manage project safety, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure projects meet operator needs.
• Maintain understanding of operating plant environments.
• Adhere to client quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and operations teams.
