Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PPM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management, including Project Costing, Billing, and Financial Management. The ideal candidate will lead implementation, configuration, AMS support, and ongoing enhancements.

You will collaborate with Finance, PMO, and IT teams to optimize project accounting, revenue recognition, and integrations with Oracle Fusion Financials.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, resource costing, and financial reporting.
• Lead workshops, requirement gathering, and solution discussions.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PPM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM), particularly Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Financial Management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, enhancement, and application maintenance and support (AMS) engagements.

The role requires a strong understanding of project accounting, financial management, project cost collection, customer billing, revenue recognition, and integration with Oracle Fusion Financials and other enterprise applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to project accounting, project costing, project billing, and financial management.
• Configure, implement, and support Oracle Fusion PPM modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Foundation, and Project Financial Management.
• Provide L2/L3 functional support for Oracle Fusion PPM, resolving incidents, defects, and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Configure expenditure types, expenditure categories, burden schedules, transaction controls, cost allocation rules, and project cost processing.
• Configure customer contracts, billing methods, revenue recognition, invoice generation, and event-based billing processes.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, resource costing, and project financial reporting.
• Configure project templates, project organizations, classifications, and project controls.
• Support project accounting processes, including cost collection, cost allocation, burdening, capitalization, and financial reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Finance, PMO, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger teams to ensure seamless business processes.
• Support integrations between Oracle Fusion PPM and other Oracle Fusion applications, including Financials, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
• Participate in data migration, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, process flows, and training materials.
• Lead business workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution discussions.
• Support month-end financial activities, production deployments, hypercare, and ongoing application enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and coordinate with business users, technical teams, architects, and project managers.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion Project Costing and Project Billing.
• Functional knowledge of Project Foundation and Project Financial Management.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, project financial controls, and financial management processes.
• Experience with expenditure types, burdening, cost allocation, project capitalization, and cost collection.
• Knowledge of customer contracts, contract-to-cash processes, customer billing, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, resource costing, and financial reporting.
• Experience in Oracle Fusion PPM implementation, configuration, enhancements, and AMS support.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procurement, and Fixed Assets (FA).
• Experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, data migration, deployment, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to independently lead workshops, manage functional discussions, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Project Contracts and Project Performance Reporting.
• Experience with global delivery models, including onsite/offshore coordination.
• Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience in process optimization, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
