Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Capital Plant Engineer to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing production processes, ensuring the efficiency of factory operations, and maintaining high standards of quality. This position requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing facility operations.

Capital Plant Engineer Responsibilities:

• Investigate plant infrastructure and manufacturing equipment issues and work with cross functional teams to coordinate solutions.
• Design and implement solutions for ongoing production issues and validate effectiveness.
• Create Engineering Notices to communicate new processes and proper operating procedures to plant personnel.
• Define new plant infrastructure and manufacturing equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment.
• Define new support equipment specifications and work with internal and external groups to install new equipment.
• Participate on new product launch process.
• Maintain effective working relationships within/between departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Engineering.

Capital Plant Engineer Qualifications:

• 4-year Engineering Degree.
• Strong understanding of plant infrastructure systems to include chilled water, compressed air, process water, process vacuum, electrical distribution, process water filtration, building and grounds.
• Success in planning, executing and managing capital projects.
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business.
• CAD experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate upwardly to top management and downward to a wide range of audiences.
• Excellent problem solving abilities and mathematical aptitude.
• Must be self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
