Job summary

Threadneedle group in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Sales Specialist Capital Markets to educate advisors and promote structured products and alternative investments via outbound and inbound calls, supporting client and advisor needs and coordinating with product partners.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services, active Series 7 and registrations, and up to 25% travel. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration, base salary in stated range, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in financial services industry, financial sales, or financial wholesaling.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Active Series 7.
• Active State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Active State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 120 days.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Proactively conduct outbound calls to advisors in assigned region.
• Ensure a high level of advisor satisfaction by responding to inbound calls and emails from advisors to provide technical expertise on sales strategies, product rules/regulations, and solutions to drive sales.
• Maintain strong working relationships with product partners and other company stakeholders.
• Accurately track all activity in Salesforce.com and track/submit all business expenses in Concur Expense Management system.
• Provide support and participate in advisor/client presentations and field facing events as required.
• In partnership with external consultants, travel within region as required to participate in one-on-one advisor sales calls, client events, and/or to deliver group presentations.
• Partner with subject matter experts across the firm and outside of the firm to continually improve the quality of advice being given to advisors.
• This includes supporting development of new strategies and on-going maintenance of existing processes, tools, and services.
