Regions Bank is seeking a Business Unit Operational Risk Analyst in Atlanta to help ensure line-of-business operations comply with regulatory and company policy. The analyst works as part of the first line of defense and collaborates with multiple units to implement the Operational Risk Framework across the assigned business line.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with five years’ experience in finance, risk or operations (or an equivalent combination with nine years in lieu of degree).

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with five years' experience in finance, risk or operations.
• Or a High School Diploma or GED with nine years' experience in finance, risk or operations.
• Experience in the specific business line operations.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts compliance reviews and oversees entities, units, and processes.
• Maintains documentation and reports to management on compliance and issues.
• Analyzes the execution of the operational risk management framework including risk assessments and scenario analysis.
• Analyzes compliance processes and reports to management, comparing current processes with policy.
• Reviews contracts, agreements, and statements of work for adherence to policy.
• Prepares and maintains risk management documentation and risk reports.
• Provides timely updates of operational risk issues and decisions to managers.
• Leads development of the overall risk assessment program and mitigation plans.
• May supervise day-to-day work of other professional level operational risk associates.
