Job summary

BIP US is seeking a Senior Release Engineer for Capital Markets to lead end-to-end SFRC release builds across multiple environments. The role emphasizes coordination with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure testing, approvals, and Go/No-Go readiness.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in Release Management, strong CI/CD experience (Ansible, Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps), and Linux/Unix knowledge, with a preference for ITIL and SAFe certifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management/Change Enablement.
• ITIL Practitioner certification in Release Management and/or Change Enablement preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end preparation, packaging, validation, and deployment of SFRC release builds across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Coordinate release activities across Development, QA, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, Production Support, and Business teams for successful implementation.
• Validate that all Release Requests have completed testing, approvals, docs, and readiness checks before release inclusion.
• Perform dependency analysis to identify release conflicts, sequencing risks, and deployment constraints.
• Conduct staging-readiness assessments and ensure environments, monitoring, rollback procedures, and support teams are prepared.
• Support Release Review meetings with status updates, risk assessments, and implementation plans.
• Contribute to Go/No-Go decisions by validating readiness, testing outcomes, and risk plans.
• Develop and improve release automation, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to reduce risk, increase frequency, and minimize manual effort.
• Support operational stability by ensuring changes are controlled and auditable.
