Job summary

Upgrade, Inc. is seeking a Capital Markets Manager to execute across warehouse facilities, forward flow, and securitizations for our lending products.

Based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule, you will manage day-to-day deal mechanics and collaborate with Institutional and FI teams to keep transactions moving. The role requires 4+ years in capital markets or asset-backed finance, strong Excel skills, and comfort with coordinating with external counterparties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of capital markets or asset-backed finance experience.
• Familiar with consumer lending and asset-based financing (warehouse facilities, forward flow, ABS).
• Proficient in Excel; SQL and Tableau a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary or backup execution support on a subset of Upgrade's lending products with live transactions.
• Own day-to-day deal execution: allocation reports, purchase confirmations, loan tape reviews, funding, settlement, and closing checklists.
• Support warehouse and ABS reporting, covenant monitoring, borrowing base calculations, and investor reporting delivery.
• Review and help negotiate legal documents for structured finance transactions with counsel.
• Analyze collateral performance using Excel, SQL, and Tableau for pricing and surveillance discussions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of investors and funding counterparties.
• Work cross-functionally to support balance sheet management and data integrity across funding channels.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects as funding programs scale.
