Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. required; Class of 2022 or equivalent experience.
• Experience advising on equity and/or debt capital markets.
• Experience with SEC reporting and public company representation.
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and take responsibility for complex transactions.
• Excellent client management and commercial advisory approach.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Capital Markets practice of a leading U.S. law firm in Palo Alto.

Working as part of a highly regarded transactional team, you'll advise public and private companies, investors and other market participants on sophisticated capital markets and securities matters. The role offers exposure to public offerings, private placements, SEC reporting and corporate governance matters, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and high-growth companies on complex, market-leading transactions.

Requirements

• Class of 2022 or equivalent level of experience.


• Experience advising on equity and/or debt capital markets transactions, securities offerings and related corporate matters.


• Experience with SEC reporting, disclosure requirements and public company representation.


• Strong transactional experience with excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.


• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and take increasing responsibility for complex transactions.


• Strong communication and client management skills with a commercial approach to delivering advice.
