RFCUNY is seeking an Assistant Director of Capital Finance in New York, NY. This leadership role reports to the Director of Construction and Associate Vice Chancellor, overseeing capital construction financial management, forecasting, and reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in capital finance or related areas, with strong Excel and ERP system proficiency. The role emphasizes risk assessment, data-driven decision support, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in capital finance, accounting, budgeting, financial management, or related areas.
• Experience managing capital budgets, expenditures, forecasts, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/ERP systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic financial oversight for the capital construction program.
• Monitor project expenditures, forecasts, funding availability, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare budget-to-actual reports, cash flow projections, expenditure forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, contracts, amendments, and change orders for accuracy and proper authorization.
