Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Capital Expenditures Accountant to lead bookkeeping, reporting, and budgeting for capital projects. You will oversee fixed assets in Oracle, drive accurate month-end close, and serve as a subject matter expert on capital expenditure matters.

Collaborating with Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Supply Chain, Financial Operations, and Accounts Payable, you’ll ensure GAAP compliance and ASC 842 alignment while optimizing asset capitalization processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience with fixed asset focus.
• Healthcare or nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle fixed asset modules preferred.
• Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting standards preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies.
