Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN is seeking a Capital Equipment Manufacturing Technician responsible for assembling, testing and troubleshooting a range of devices. You will set up equipment, fixtures and test cables, perform final assembly and operate computer‑controlled test equipment with limited supervision.
The role emphasizes collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and R&D, training other technicians and adhering to work instructions to improve process reliability.
The Capital Equipment Manufacturing Technician will perform a variety of moderately complex tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. Under limited supervision, performs the setup of equipment, fixtures, components, cables, etc. for test. Performs all mechanical assemblies. Performs hand setups for AC and digital tests, recognizes failures and set‑up problems, and determines need for appropriate verification, including correction of failure. Operates test equipment including samplers, oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies and specialized test fixtures. No instructions are needed on routine work, and general instructions are given on new lines of work or special assignments.
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.
