Job summary

Kraft Energy Systems Inc. in Alpena, Michigan, seeks an experienced CAD/Design Engineer to create and refine capital equipment layouts for the concrete products industry.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in CAD or related field.
• Experience in drafting and design using SolidWorks/CAD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Designs, models, and details capital equipment layouts for concrete products.
• Uses SolidWorks/CAD for model creation, design, drafting, and detailing of Besser products.
• Develops and updates plant layouts, sales drawings, and foundation/installation drawings.
• Completes drawing revisions and releases through required documentation.
• Collaborates with sales and service in the field to verify equipment specifications.
• Assists with incoming customer calls and inquiries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
