Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience as a licensed professional architect, licensed professional engineer, licensed professional landscape architect or certified interior designer.

Responsibilities

• Administers regulations and processes related to capital construction projects, district facility planning, real property transactions; and the state-wide inventory of school buildings.
• Create and maintain capital construction project files in the KDE Capital Construction database; provide assistance to districts and consultants in planning and design of new construction or renovation.
• Create and maintain district planning files; develop district Needs Assessments in odd calendar years.
• Provide presentations to districts and related associations such as KSBA, KASBO, KASA, KSPMA.
