Job summary

Tally Personnel, LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a Capillary and Gauge Combo Spooler Technician to support installation, troubleshooting, and field service for Capillary and Down Hole Gauge systems at customer sites.

You will pull, install, and repair ESP cables, inspect cables, coordinate transport to well sites, lead pre-job safety briefings, and work with customers to ensure proper procedures. The role requires independence, on-site work in varying conditions, and adherence to HSE policies.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years ESP Spooling experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Capillary/Gauge equipment experience preferred in artificial lift, production, completions, or similar oilfield operation.

Responsibilities

• Pull, install, and repair ESP cable and band installations.
• Perform full and detailed inspection of cable, including splices and repairs, and maintain records.
• Coordinate and ensure safe transportation of equipment from shop to well site.
• Conduct pre-job safety meetings with onsite personnel and select topics as needed.
• Work directly with customer to advise proper procedures for successful installation/retrieval.
• Oversee installation/retrieval of Capillary/Gauge equipment, monitoring site safety and efficiency.
• Recognize inefficient system performance, analyze issues, and implement solutions.
• Complete paperwork, reports, and correspondence accurately and timely.
• Communicate instructions to employees, contractors, and field representatives professionally.
• Promote field sales for Priority’s Capillary/Gauge products and classes.
