Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Georgia seeks a Location Procurement Manager to lead site-level procurement for a brand-new factory launch and CapEx projects. You will build the local supply base, establish purchasing processes, and partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance and EHS to drive capital programs.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, with CapEx sourcing, supplier development, and cross-functional execution in a fast-startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or finance.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• Experience sourcing and executing capital projects (CapEx).
• Proven negotiation skills with RFx, supplier selection, and contract awards.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, total cost of ownership, cost breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Develop the site supply chain: identify, qualify, onboard local/regional suppliers for direct/indirect categories.
• CapEx sourcing and execution: lead procurement for capital equipment, construction spend, utilities, facility services.
• Capital expense governance: align purchasing with budgets and track commitments.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, SLAs, and change orders with Legal and stakeholders.
• Establish supplier KPIs and manage performance, drive corrective actions, mitigate risk.
• Serve as procurement lead for site projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop location strategy and perform make/buy and TCO analyses.
• Set up purchasing processes and ensure data accuracy in ERP/eProcurement tools.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and bidding requirements.
