Job summary

Hexcel in Kent, WA is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through implementation, driving improvements to processes, equipment, and infrastructure. You will manage the capital budget, forecast expenditures, and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and maintain engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from planning through implementation for the Kent, WA facility and regional support.
• Manage the site capital spending program, including annual planning, forecasting and expenditure tracking.
• Scope and estimate projects up to $5M; coordinate procurement, resources, and stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, efficient project execution and communicate status to leadership.
