Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering with at least 5 years of relevant engineering or related experience.
• Experience managing capital projects or project engineering responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of engineering disciplines and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Preferred Six Sigma, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital projects for the assigned manufacturing facility and support capital initiatives at a secondary regional facility from planning and design through implementation and hand-off.
• Manage the site capital spending program, including annual capital planning and forecasting.
• Scope and estimate capital projects up to $5M, manage procurement and schedule.
• Read, interpret, prepare, and maintain engineering drawings and specifications; design, evaluate, and troubleshoot systems.
• Execute projects safely and efficiently with minimal operational impact and report status to leadership.
