Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks a CapEx Procurement Manager for its Georgia operations to lead sourcing of food manufacturing equipment, engineering services, and capital projects. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, finance, suppliers, and global teams.

The role is on-site in Georgia with travel to nearby locations and occasional international trips. Requirements include a Bachelor's in a related field and 10+ years in procurement, with at least 7 years in CapEx.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement, engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years in CapEx procurement.
• Experience sourcing food manufacturing equipment and related services.
• Knowledge of CapEx and MRO sourcing and international procurement.
• Ability to negotiate complex high-value contracts and assess risks.
• Strong PM, analytical and communication skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally with operations, engineering and finance.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for food manufacturing equipment and related projects.
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations and POs.
• Partner with engineering and operations to define specs, schedules, and expectations.
• Negotiate contracts addressing pricing, delivery, warranties, performance and risk.
• Apply total cost of ownership analyses to purchasing decisions.
• Identify qualified suppliers and develop market intelligence to improve value.
• Monitor procurement performance, cost savings, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with global procurement teams for international purchases, import/export.
• Identify risks early and keep projects on schedule and budget.
