Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a CapEx Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for food manufacturing equipment, engineering services, construction, and other capital purchases in Georgia. The role collaborates with engineering, operations, finance, and global teams and requires on-site work with travel between Newnan and LaGrange; some domestic and international travel is expected.

Responsibilities include managing RFIs/RFPs, negotiating complex contracts, and applying total cost of ownership

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement or related field.
• 7+ years in CapEx procurement.
• Experience sourcing food manufacturing equipment and related services.
• Strong negotiation and risk communication.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for manufacturing equipment, engineering, and facility projects.
• Manage full procurement process: RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, POs, invoices, supplier performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to define specs, requirements, delivery schedules, and supplier expectations.
• Negotiate complex contracts and multi-year agreements addressing pricing, delivery, warranties, and risk.
• Apply total cost of ownership analysis to support purchasing decisions.
• Identify qualified suppliers and develop market intelligence to improve value and continuity.
• Monitor procurement performance, cost savings, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with global procurement teams and support international equipment purchases.
