Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a CapEx Procurement Manager for its Georgia operations, including a major new plant development.

This on-site role leads sourcing for food manufacturing equipment, engineering services, construction, and other capital purchases, collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, finance and global procurement teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in procurement with 7+ years in CapEx, hands-on equipment sourcing and complex contract experience, and must be

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of direct CapEx procurement experience.
• Experience sourcing food manufacturing or processing equipment, production systems, and related services.
• Knowledge of CapEx and MRO sourcing, procurement systems, and international equipment procurement.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex, high-value contracts and communicate commercial risks.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop sourcing strategies for equipment, engineering services, construction, and facility projects.
• Manage full procurement process from RFIs to supplier performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations on specs, schedules, and expectations.
• Negotiate contracts and multi-year agreements addressing price, delivery and risk.
• Apply total cost of ownership analysis to purchasing decisions.
• Identify qualified suppliers and improve value and continuity.
• Monitor procurement performance, cost savings, and milestones.
• Coordinate with global procurement teams and international purchases.
• Identify risks and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Travel between Georgia locations and internationally as needed.
