Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in real estate, finance, urban planning, public administration, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in real estate development, project management, affordable housing, or closely related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including working with public officials, lenders, consultants and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial underwriting and feasibility analyses for development projects, including budgets and operating assumptions.
• Develop and maintain project proformas, sources and uses, and return analyses.
• Evaluate site acquisition opportunities and due diligence.
• Coordinate financing applications for local, state, federal and private funding.
• Assist in development of project management plans, timelines, and budgets; track progress from concept to occupancy.
• Coordinate internal reviews with housing staff and boards; mitigate risks and address challenges.
