Job summary

Knowles is seeking a production operator to wind film capacitor sections using automatic winding machines. The role requires reading work orders, setting up winders, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace on the production floor.

You will monitor equipment, diagnose simple malfunctions, and ensure sections are delivered to the next operation while updating the production system. This entry-level manufacturing position emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Full body movement required.
• Good eyesight.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum education – High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to learn correct set-up
• Plan workload to keep up with production lines
• Set-up and operate winders
• Monitor winders to consistently produce a quality product
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform minor repairs
• Deliver sections to next operation and update computer
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Other Duties as assigned
