Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools seeks a Director of Operations & Team Management (Leader of CAP Team Management & Operations) to lead CAP Associates and Financial Aid Managers across high school campuses, ensuring execution with clarity, urgency, and quality in the college access process.

You will set expectations, coach staff, manage caseloads and timelines, and align CAP work with school leaders in a hybrid NYC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of management experience leading 10–15+ staff.
• Ability to coach, develop staff and drive performance.
• Experience in high-performing school environments or similarly demanding cultures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across staff and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop CAP Associates and Financial Aid Managers across campuses.
• Translate timelines into clear daily/weekly priorities; monitor deliverables.
• Oversee staffing, caseloads, and workload distribution; manage risks.
• Engage scholars and families; address escalation points; ensure high-quality experience.
• Build partnerships with School Leaders; align on campus priorities and CAP execution.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled workflows while maintaining rigor and accuracy.
