Job summary

Kirby of Middle Georgia is seeking motivated Canvassers to join our street sales team. You will go door to door, talk to potential customers about our products and services, and participate in events such as fairs and expos.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a solid sales background are essential to succeed in this role. We hire for both full-time and part-time positions, requiring travel and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Work experience as a canvasser is required.
• Experience in sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Memorizing and reciting the employer’s prepared sales scripts.
• Approaching people in malls, on the street, and at homes to discuss products.
• Demonstrating product knowledge to sway opinions.
• Collecting signatures and personal information.
• Making cold calls from the office.
• Answering questions about products or the organization.
• Attending industry events such as rallies, shows, and fairs.

Job description

We’re looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our team as a Canvasser. As a member of our street sales team, you go door to door to talk to potential customers about our products and services. This is an integral part of our lead generation process and strategy. It requires you to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly and confidently bridge conversation gaps. As a canvasser, your job will entail approaching people in malls, at home, and on the street and informing them about our product and its applications. We may also require you to sell our products directly and attend events where our product(s) will be displayed, such as county fairs and expos.

You should have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to provide information on various products to succeed as a canvasser. Finally, a great Canvasser can connect with people personally and sell the company’s products or ideas without coming across as pushy. We're hiring for both full-time and part-time positions!

Canvasser Duties & Responsibilities:

Canvasser Requirements:
