ComForCare Home Care - Alameda is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services across Alameda County on weekends, with guaranteed evening shifts and potential additional weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability is required.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain before hire.
• Reliable transportation; travel across Alameda County.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (bilingual is a plus).
• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• On-call is optional; if on-call, paid for the entire time on-call.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Care Aides (HCAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors, adults, and children with disabilities throughout Alameda County over the weekends.

Guaranteed Hours between 7pm and 11pm Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday. Shifts are a minimum of 4 hours with many more shifts available. Weekday shifts also available.

• Reliable transportation, requirement to travel anywhere in Alameda County
• Ability to communicate effective in English (bilingual is a plus)
• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingess to obtain
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia
• Authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

-All hours spent working with clients are paid at $22-25 /hr based on experience-All non-working on-call hours are paid at $16.90 /hr, this is optional
