Job summary

A Quality Facility Services in Canton is hiring a 2nd Shift Floater. The shift runs 5:00 PM–1:00 AM, with every other weekend off and a $150 gas stipend. No cleaning experience is required—paid training is provided to help you grow into a Supervisor role.

You will travel between client facilities, learn our cleaning standards, train new employees, and support teams. This role offers advancement opportunities and a supportive environment for leadership development.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, clean driver's license
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel approximately 50 miles per day
• Available for 5:00 PM–1:00 AM shift
• Available to work every other weekend
• Willing to learn and train others; leadership interest

Responsibilities

• Assist with training and onboarding new employees at assigned facilities
• Demonstrate proper cleaning procedures and expectations to new team members
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean and polish surfaces, fixtures, and trim
• Empty trash and transport it to disposal areas
• Clean windows, doors, walls, panels, and sills as needed
• Buff floors at certain facilities
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
• Assist at different facilities based on staffing needs

Schedule & Travel

• 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM–1:00 AM
• Every other weekend is required
• When you are scheduled to work the weekend,we try to provide two days off during the weekto help maintain a balanced schedule.
• This is a traveling Floater position withexpected travel averaging approximately 50 miles per day.
• You will travel between different client facilities based on staffing and operational needs.

To be successful in this position, you must:

What You'll Do

As a Floater, you'll help keep our client facilities clean, safe, and welcoming while providing additional support where it is needed most. Because you'll work at multiple locations, you'll have the opportunity to learn different facilities, work with different teams, and develop a broad range of skills.

You'll also play an important role inwelcoming and training new team members, helping them learn their assigned facilities, cleaning procedures, and our expectations for quality and service. This provides valuable hands‑on leadership experience for team members interested in eventually moving into a Supervisor position.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with training and onboarding new employees at assigned facilities

• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Cleaning and polishing surfaces, fixtures, and trim
• Emptying trash and transporting it to designated disposal areas
• Cleaning rugs and mats
• Washing windows, doors, walls, panels, and sills as needed
• Buffing floors at certain facilities
• Maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
• Assisting at different facilities based on staffing needs
