Overview

Canopy Chicago Central Loop – Dual Front Desk Manager located at 226 West Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL, 60606, US. The Dual Front Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Front Office at two properties. The role requires an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous approach, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the Front Office at two properties.
• Provide quality guest service prior to check‑in and throughout the stay.
• Maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Work as many hours as necessary to complete responsibilities; overtime is applied for OEM associates and calculated accordingly.
• Direct the work of at least three full‑time associates or their equivalents.

Property Information

Formerly the headquarters of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, the building features a dual‑branded hotel with a 135‑room Hilton Garden Inn and a 215‑room Canopy by Hilton. A National Historic Landmark dating back to 1904, the property is located in the heart of downtown Chicago across the street from Willis Tower. The dual‑branded property has a total of 350 rooms and suites. The first floor will feature lobbies, amenities, and conference rooms. The existing 15th floor will be modified by removing its roof in its entirety to build a new 16th floor space with an independent restaurant / lounge. The project will also include renovating six elevators and adding a seventh.

Compensation

$75,000.00 per hour.
