Job summary

GTI is hiring a Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in a friendly, knowledge-based retail environment. You will educate customers about products and consumption methods, recommend safe regimens, and help maintain a positive store atmosphere.

The role requires flexibility with shifts and strong attention to compliance, safety, and confidentiality. Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service experience, comfort with POS systems, and a willingness to learn about cannabis

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for retail experience.
• Ability to work varying shifts including mornings, days, nights and weekends.
• Reliable attendance and compliance with all regulations for cannabis work.
• Must be 21 years or older and pass background checks.
• Maintain professional demeanor and adhere to HIPAA-like confidentiality where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and customers in a retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety.
• Recommend regimens based on customer needs and product knowledge.
• Maintain a positive, patient- and customer-oriented store atmosphere.
• Verify orders and support store operations for smooth daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with local/state cannabis regulations and safety procedures.
• Keep sales floor stocked and store appearance maintained.
• Maintain confidential records as required and operate POS systems.
• Handle in-store tasks across front-of-house, fulfillment, and inventory.
• Support management and participate in ongoing product education.
