Job summary

Canopy Growth in Tiverton, ON is seeking a dedicated post-harvest technician to hand trim and machine trim medical cannabis, ensuring the product meets quality standards and is ready for the next processing step.

You will perform software transactions, maintain logs, and keep a clean, organized workspace while working a Monday-Thursday shift, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with full-time benefits including extended health and dental coverage and a retirement savings plan.

Qualifications

• Solid manual dexterity with scissors, snips and sheers.
• Ability to stay organized and follow SOPs for product consistency.
• Willingness to perform varied tasks as required.
• Experience in a similar setting or ability to work in a loud, confined space.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Hand trim or machine trim product to prepare it for the next stage of processing.
• Conduct quality control inspections of final trimmed product.
• Perform MJ Freeway software transactions.
• Create batches and waste packages.
• Record and maintain weights for pay-for-performance spreadsheets.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and equipment, following SOPs.
