Job summary

Northeast Alternatives is seeking a Harvest & Trim Technician to join our cannabis team. The role focuses on harvesting, trimming, and processing cannabis while adhering to SOPs, quality standards, and CRA regulations.

You will help maintain cleanliness, support audits, and contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be 21+ with a passion for cannabis, able to work 8-hour shifts, and capable of standing for the full shift while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and eligible to obtain required state cannabis agent registration.
• Maintain proper PPE and uniforms during each shift.
• Shower and wash hair before shifts to prevent facility contamination.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with others.
• Punctuality and ability to work regular hours.
• Honesty, trustworthiness and hardworking mindset.
• Passion for the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Harvest, trim and process cannabis flower.
• Follow SOPs and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain a sanitary, organized workspace.
• Adhere to CRA regulations in post-harvest operations and waste disposal.
• Meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
• Adapt to various strains and adjust techniques accordingly.
• Track productivity and inventory metrics (pounds trimmed, weights).
• Detect bud deformities and monitor scale maintenance.
• Assist in audits and other duties as assigned.
