Job summary

Essential Employment Services, LLC is hiring a Cannabis Budtender in Minnesota. You will greet customers, assist in product selection, handle transactions, and maintain compliant operations in a dispensary setting.

You will need strong cannabis product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to lift and stand for long periods. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older (as required by state law).
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in retail or a cannabis-related field.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of customers.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check (as required by state law).
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and register transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete Compliant Customer/Patient transactions
• Assist or escape disgruntled customers/patients to Manager on Duty
• Take out trash and assist in keeping the sales floor clean
• Confirm cash register begins and ends at $200
• Confirm accurate cash drops
• Parking Lot Sweeps
• Build online orders (when there is downtime)
• Research current products
• Clean glass fixtures
• Assist in Greeter position duties when needed
• Access patient records with confidentiality
