Job summary

EMBR is hiring a Cannabis Retail Associate at our Northampton location. The role involves greeting guests, answering questions, processing sales and ensuring compliance with Massachusetts cannabis regulations. Training on our menu and CCC requirements is provided, with a focus on accuracy and friendly service.

New team members receive paid onboarding, product training, and the chance to advance to senior roles. This part-time position offers an employee discount and ongoing merchandising support.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older per Massachusetts law.
• Part-time availability including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable talking with a wide range of customers and staying patient under pressure.
• Able to learn new systems, product info, and store procedures quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set a friendly, professional tone from entry.
• Understand customer needs and recommend products that fit.
• Share accurate product details in line with Massachusetts CCC regulations.
• Ring up orders and process payments via the POS system.
• Check IDs and ensure age/purchase limits are compliant.
• Keep the sales floor tidy and stocked, on-brand.
