Qualifications

• 3+ years’ customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs on a regular basis.
• Effective multi-tasker with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; professional correspondence.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to pass a background check and be 21+ years old.
• Must obtain and maintain required state licenses based on location.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon entry and verify IDs.
• Meet or exceed individual sales targets and conversion goals defined by leadership.
• Assist customers with questions on state-required forms; update POS data as needed.
• Keep waiting room and sales floor organized and stocked during downtime.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and proper product selection.
• Fill online orders quickly while ensuring customer experience and compliance.
• Model sales and customer service excellence for staff.
• Handle customer complaints professionally with management support.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current on cannabis trends and regulations.
• Accurately operate POS systems and manage daily cash following policies.
• Open and close the store, assist with product intake and inventory counts.
• Participate in management meetings and suggest improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all dispensary policies and schedules.
• Support training of new and existing employees on duties and systems.
• Participate in timing, pooling, and distribution of tips per management.
