Job summary

Stash Ventures in Detroit is seeking an Operations Assistant to support daily dispensary operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage inventory, assist sales efforts, and deliver strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the Operations Specialist, handle opening/closing checklists, oversee Metrc-related tasks, and help maintain store standards while aligning with company policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of inventory management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry and compliance rules.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to undergo a background check.
• Ability to accommodate scheduling including weekends, holidays and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational execution, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Manage supplies ordering using the Supplies Checklist and assist with stocking and merchandising.
• Monitor security personnel and conduct loss prevention activities.
• Perform Metrc conversions, assign new package tags, and build sales receipts when necessary.
• Support CRA/state compliance, inventory audits, and cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and contribute to a professional customer experience.
