Job summary

Stash Ventures is seeking an Operations Assistant for our Midwest dispensary team. You will support day-to-day operations, inventory control, and customer service while ensuring adherence to state cannabis regulations and company policies.

Key duties include managing supplies, assisting with opening/closing procedures, and supporting the Operations Specialist in day-to-day tasks. A strong organizational mindset and willingness to work across shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least two years of inventory management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry and compliance rules.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to undergo a background check.
• Ability to accommodate scheduling expectations, including weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operational execution, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Work with the Operations Specialist to manage ordering of supplies using the Supplies Checklist.
• Monitor security personnel where applicable.
• Investigate and prevent asset loss with the loss prevention team.
• Assist with opening and closing checklists and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate on merchandising strategies and stocking/merchandising tasks.
• Help ensure CRA/state compliance labels, waste logs and Metrc processes are followed.
• Perform Metrc conversions and assign new package tags when needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and regular cycle counts as per policy.
• Support leadership with returns and wasted product management.
