Job summary

Mint Cannabis Co. in Willowbrook, IL is seeking a Retail Lead to act as an operational extension of the Store Manager, overseeing the sales floor flow, guest experience, and team execution during shifts.

You will guide 25+ budtenders and BOH clerks, coach staff on upselling and metrics, manage daily inventory, cash handling, and POS operations while ensuring compliance with Illinois regulations and company standards during peak hours.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in cannabis industry.
• Strong leadership background for large teams; cannabis leadership a plus.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ and obtain Illinois Agent Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead 25+ team members to upsell, inventory, and guest experience.
• Coach team on sales metrics and provide feedback.
• Monitor inventory and reduce shrinkage.
• Oversee floor openings/closings, cash reconciliation, and POS.
• Ensure Illinois compliance during inspections to reduce deficiencies.
