Job summary

Mint Cannabis in Willowbrook, IL is seeking a Retail Lead to act as the store manager's operational extension. You will oversee shift teams, maintain sales floor flow, oversee upselling, inventory control, cash handling, and POS operations.

Responsibilities include coaching a 25+ member team, driving sales metrics, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring Illinois regulatory compliance during inspections. This role reports to the Store Manager and supports daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in cannabis industry.
• Leadership experience with large teams; cannabis leadership a plus.
• Experience in sales preferred.
• Must be 21+ and able to obtain Illinois Agent Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift team and oversee sales floor operations.
• Coach and provide sales feedback to the team on metrics and performance.
• Oversee inventory control to reduce shrinkage and ensure accurate scanning.
• Manage daily store openings/closings, cash reconciliation and POS usage.
