Job summary

Hirebridge LLC in Oakland, CA is seeking an Inventory Associate to oversee daily stock counts, barcode new inventory, and ensure accurate records in the POS and METRC systems. You will audit physical vs virtual inventory, handle cycle counts, and help maintain regulatory labeling and waste procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years retail or customer service experience.
• Inventory experience in a retail environment.
• Strong math skills.
• METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience.
• Microsoft Word and advanced Excel skills.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Barcode all new inventory in the POS system.
• Audit physical inventory against virtual counts.
• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and evaluation.
• Provide timely notice of discrepancies to management.
• Research inventory variances and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of non-stock inventory.
• Follow cannabis waste procedures and schedules.
• Create a calendar of upcoming expired products.
• Assist with budtending as directed by manager.
• Log customer transactions in POS and ensure a seamless experience.
