Job summary

Minnesota Cannabis Services is hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead store openings from preconstruction through occupancy. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractors while coordinating with designers and city officials to ensure compliance and timely openings.

You will oversee site visits, review drawings, and drive risk assessment across cultivation, manufacturing, wholesale, transport, and retail locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager with ownership of budget, schedule, and contractor management.
• Experience delivering commercial ground-up or tenant-improvement projects from preconstruction through CO.
• Proficiency reading construction documents, specs, shop drawings, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Own master schedule including long-lead equipment, permits, licensing milestones, and opening date.
• Run full permitting processes and manage code official relationships.
• Manage budgets from preliminary estimates to final cost with variance reporting.
• Coordinate and manage architects, engineers, and consultants through design and construction.
• Visit active sites to verify progress and ensure conformance to drawings.
