Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking a Quality Technician in Connecticut to perform daily verification of ingredients, materials, packaging and finished products to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP and all applicable laws. You will support SOP adherence, assist with non-conformances, maintain records, and participate in audits.

The role requires attention to detail, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cannabis industry experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Experience in regulated industry (healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods or cannabis) is highly desired.
• FDA, GMP, SQF and HACCP experience is highly desired.
• Strong experience with product sampling and inspection.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Department and ensure SOP adherence.
• Perform incoming inspections of materials and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Execute in-process and finished product sampling as required.
• Review in-process batch documentation and release of finished goods.
• Maintain good documentation practices and keep records.
• Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
