Job summary

DreamFields Massachusetts is seeking a Technician, Quality Control to support the National Manager of Total Quality. You will inspect products, track defects, and ensure only compliant products proceed in manufacturing and distribution.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, documenting results, and collaborating with QC leadership to drive improvements. The role requires GMP practices, strong attention to detail, and experience in a regulated cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in cannabis or a similarly highly regulated industry.
• Experience with accurate and timely data reporting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or test products before, during, and after manufacturing to ensure alignment with standards.
• Review and follow SOPs, work instructions and specifications.
• Pass or reject products to ensure compliance with cannabis regulations and internal specs.
• Categorize rejected products by observed defect(s).
• Track units reworked and/or rejected in real time.
• Document inspection results and report quality data regularly; perform real-time data entry during inspections.
• Communicate with QC Supervisor, Production Lead and team to improve processes and reduce errors.
• Identify quality insights and support corrective actions.
• Maintain QC equipment and sanitary workstation conditions; assist with tests or experiments as needed.
