Job summary

DreamFields Massachusetts is hiring a Quality Control Technician to support the National Manager of Total Quality. You will inspect products, track defects, and ensure proper containment of quality risks. The role ensures only products meeting specifications advance in manufacturing or distribution.

Responsibilities include inspecting materials, following SOPs, documenting results, and communicating issues clearly to the QC team. Requires high attention to detail and GMP awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a quality control/quality assurance role preferred in a highly regulated industry.
• Experience with accurate and timely data reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or test products before, during, and after manufacturing to ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and specifications.
• Pass or reject products to comply with cannabis regulations and internal specs.
• Document inspection results with accurate data and real-time reporting.
• Raise red flags and provide notes on quality/compliance issues.
• Collaborate with QC Supervisor, Production Lead, and team to improve processes.
• Maintain QC equipment and sanitary conditions per GMP.
