Job summary

The Cannabist Company in Lowell, MA is seeking a Production Technician to handle cannabis processing from post-harvest through packaging and labeling. This role covers drying, curing, trimming, weighing, and recording to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in production, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings/weekends. Compensation is $17 per hour, full-time, non-exempt with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in production positions.
• General knowledge of weights and measurement.
• Evening/night/weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the post-harvest plant processing of cannabis.
• Fan leaf removal, harvest, drying, trimming, curing, weighing, packaging, labeling, recording, and inspection of product; proper sanitation.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Transport harvested plants to drying room and hang to be dried.
• Hand trims or operate trimming machine to remove excess plant material.
• Weighs, records, and disposes plant waste following regulations.
• Receives tasks from management and works efficiently.
