Job summary

King City Gardens seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety in our cannabis production facility. You will clean and prep tools, trays, and equipment, log sanitation activities, and ensure regulatory standards are met throughout the shift.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and reliable documentation. Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, with a Monday–Friday 4pm–1am shift; health, vision, and dental benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or highly regulated sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess processing areas for cleanliness and readiness of tools, drawers, tins, and trays.
• Collect dirty tools and trays from processing areas and return to the washroom.
• Clean dirty tools using washers or ultrasonic cleaning equipment and clean dirty trays.
• Inspect washers and ultrasonic machines for cleanliness and readiness before use.
• Follow the drainage schedule for the ultrasonic machine.
• Return clean tools and trays to designated areas and stock stations.
• Prepare and maintain clean, dry tools for lunch switches and production changeovers.
• Stock clean towels and replace towels on Fridays.
• Maintain sink and washroom areas and prepare water for cleaning activities.
• Distribute ISO bottles throughout the processing area as needed.
• Perform alcohol refill runs and distribute supplies to areas.
• Inspect and clean Sauce Stations and rollers on the production floor.
• Complete end-of-day cleaning and remove Sauce residue from rollers and mats.
• Maintain cleaning logs to document sanitation activities and compliance.
