Job summary

King City Gardens seeks a hands-on Lead to oversee production operations and a team of up to 20 employees. You will drive daily performance, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with GMP and company policies. Strong Excel data entry and reporting skills are required.

The role partners with the Supervisor to align production plans with goals, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows. This on-site position emphasizes reliable leadership in a fast-growing cannabis facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role with direct reports.
• 2+ years working in an assembly or production environment
• 1+ years of experience in training or coaching

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities while ensuring team members follow PPE, uniform, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Coach, train, and hold employees accountable for meeting production quotas and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance, provide corrective action when needed, and report underperformance to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Train new hires within the assigned production area and support their development.
• Oversee packaging operations to ensure products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and according to quality standards and production goals.
• Accurately enter daily production data and maintain required spreadsheets and reports.
• Communicate closely with the Production Value Stream Supervisor regarding goals, performance, quality, equipment, materials, and staffing.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and keep workflows running smoothly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
