Job summary

Wyld is seeking a Production Lead in Washington (Tacoma) to drive high-quality production and support daily workflows. You will train and coach Production team members when Supervisors are absent, and help open/close shifts with a flexible schedule.

Role requires attention to QA/QC, safety, and efficient line management while maintaining a clean, compliant kitchen environment. You will report to the Kitchen Manager and contribute to Wyld’s fast-growing production operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more in a food production/kitchen setting and/or supervisory experience
• Experience with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
• Ability to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google, Slack; Jira or similar)
• Strong English communication (verbal and written)
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Occasional travel between buildings/sites
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• 21 years of age or older per state regulations
• ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card preferred
• Must pass background check and obtain state permits/licenses

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility items and products
• Prepare ingredients, workstations and equipment; perform regular checks on equipment
• Maintain high QA/QC standards for weights, appearance, and flavor profiles
• Manage time and team to meet daily production targets
• Work well under pressure with a sense of urgency
• Ensure proper safe storage of consumables and products
• Follow sanitation and safety standards; keep kitchen clean and organized
• Communicate quality or safety issues up the chain; train and coach staff
• Assist Supervisors/Managers in training Production Support
• Provide daily safety communications and follow regulatory requirements
• Assist with Packaging duties as needed
• Other duties as required by business needs
