Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a Production & Laboratory Supervisor to lead our cannabis lab operations. The role focuses on enforcing safety and security, maintaining equipment, and keeping detailed records while spending significant time on the production floor with staff.

The successful candidate will motivate and organize a team to ensure product quality and inventory integrity, using collaboration to support colleagues across GTI’s production teams.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience or Life Sciences degree preferred.
• 2+ years in analytical, food manufacturing, or production environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for hazardous chemicals.
• Cannabis extraction/distillation experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Gemba Walks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the laboratory production operations of infused or extraction products.
• Lead production employees with motivation and interpersonal skills.
• Support leadership to maintain quality via document management and lab testing.
• Use critical thinking to spot inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Maintain compliance with state laws, safety policies, and equipment upkeep.
• Schedule, train, onboard, and perform performance reviews; supervise SOP adherence.
